Sreya weaves a sanctuary for the child the body has outgrown, transforming the heavy artifacts of memory—old clothes, forgotten toys, and the “fierce love” of innocence—into a magical world where the sky and sea are as vast as human desire. Her work is a poignant rebellion against the gravity of adulthood, capturing the moment where the “mature girl” finds her wings clipped by societal judgment and chooses to fly instead through the canvas.
